I just love having a gathering.

I had set the date for a party get together and then decided to include Kite flying and my good friend Kathie’s 50th Birthday celebration as she thought she would be too busy doing exams for her Nursing degree to hold one.

I set the date on January the 1st 2009.

How lucky can you get. That day was sunny, warm and breezy. Not bad for a late autumn get together.

We had quite a few kites happening and I hope to load up more photos as they arrive.

The gorgeous young ladies who came with their parents had heaps of fun using my excersize pole. I wont show those photos for obvious reasons ,but what a lot of healthy fun they had. Although at one stage the Dad of one of the girls had to climb a lader and tighten a bolt as all the exuberance had loosend it.
